Navijin vs Moxa vs Planet: Industrial Switches

Industrial sites such as oil and gas facilities, utilities, transport hubs, factories and solar farms need network equipment that keeps running in harsh conditions. Sizing Tip: PoE Budget and Power Supply

Add up the power of every device: PTZ cameras often draw 25 to 30W, fixed cameras 5 to 12W and Wi-Fi 6 APs 12 to 18W. Then choose a DIN-rail supply with at least 20 to 30% headroom. For example, 4 fixed cameras plus 1 PTZ plus 1 outdoor AP use about 80W, so the DRP-120-48 is a good fit.

Why Choose Navijin for Industrial Sites?

  • Complete field cabinet: switch, SFP optics and 48V power supply from one brand.
  • Complete site: add PTZ cameras, outdoor Wi-Fi and 5km wireless bridges.
  • Value pricing for large roll-outs with many cabinets.
  • Dubai stock with export to Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar and Africa.

When Moxa may fit better: substations or process-control networks that require specific IEC 61850 or hazardous-area certification. Tell us your specification and we will advise honestly.
